 Celica wont stay running |

I have a 1995 Celica GT with the 2.2 5fse. I am having an issues where it will turn over, start then die again. It will repeat this and wont stay running. We just replaced the distributor becuase we saw that one of the electrical inputs was busted. Any ideas on what it might be? we are thinking Igniter but not positive at this point.

check ur fuel pump, thats what mine did when the pump went out, may also check ur fuel filter

Also check your idle air control, it could be dirty or malfunctioning. My 95 did the same thing where it wouldn't run on it's own but if I gave it gas it ran fine. Try spraying some carb cleaner in the little hole in front of the throttle plate in the intake while someone else keeps the car running. -------------------- 1999 Celica GT
