I've posted before that I was rebuilding the head on my engine which currently has 177K. Instead, I have decided to buy a new long block and have it installed. What else should I do? I am thinking about the clutch? Water pump, hoses, belts, radiator??? Any ideas? I will be installing the ebay header and a hi flow cat. converter at the time of the engine install. What else should I do while the engine is out?

That's another thought I had, boost. If I did want boost, I'd have to go forged pistons at a lower compression, but I'll be using stock replacement pistons at the stock compression so how could I boost safely? Could I actually get boost that'd be noticeable? I would consider it if I could get at least 7 Ibs PSI and I would only do a turbo with the manifold, some sort of fuel management and a tuner. I know I'd need an intercooler as well but I wouldn't do anything else, no cams, no porting or polishing on anything, just the basics.
