Is it a must to remove the crank pulley to get the timing belt off, or is it possible to change it with the pulley on? Its just a big deal to take it off for me, hard to find a puller and i dont have a good impact.
And should i change the idler pulley as well? The car has 240000km. |

Good luck you will need it. I had to go buy a 650lb ft torqe impact gun just BECAUSE I couldn't get the freakin Pulley off. It was so stubborn, 150lb was weak sauce, 250 didnt do squat, 350 was childs play and I nearly out of my mind bought a 1250lb torque hammer gun but the only thing stopping me was my Air comp. not supporting over 250 Psi, so I settled for the 650 which was the highest I could find that supported 150 psi range.
