Hey guys!
So I was thinking about a crazy idea for a short ram setup and I wanted to see what you all thought about it. I was considering a short ram intake with the filter placed inside of some type of sealed enclosure that would pull air from the drivers side vent on a Z3 fender. So is this crazy or what? Thanks for your input! |

You'd be better off to make one that pulls air from the cowl area where there's already a high-pressure zone. It was really common in the Miata crowd to drill a 2-3" hole in the firewall right below the cowl and have the intake come from there, worked better than most the short rams and cold airs for the car.
Now that I think about it, maybe I'll do that to mine lol. -------------------- 1999 Celica GT
