So luis picked up a 94 GT hatch, fenders are a little banged up but she cleaned up nicely and will surely look great when its all done

rev limiter cuts fuel only
if they down shifted from a high gear hauling ass to a low gear the engine can./will accelerate past rev limit because the engine is getting its power to spin from the inertia of the car and NOT the actual burn of th A/F mixture. Same reason 7th gen GTS' oil pumps explode.
