Apparently my TSX friend told about this new craze over the throttle body spacer. Its suppose to give u more hp n tq n saves gas. I think its garbage but he says hes getting gains off of it. There are ones made for the 5sfe but none for the 7afe kindasad.gif Do any of u guys use it or heard of it? the one he has is made by p2r.

Those mods are nothing like the carby slider, which was a fix for a poor design of the throttle mechanisms and the shape of the carburetor. Fuel injection and plenum is a far superior design.

From the throttle body back, the size of the plenum correlates to the air needs of the engine and the size of the valves, etc. It's all been calculated, there's nothing but detriment when it's been ****ed with as it throws off the proportions of everything else. The only things that are good for the intake are 1. forcing more air in, 2. getting colder air in, 3. allowing the engine to breathe through a less restrictive filter.
