I've decided that I need an alarm on my car since I'm dropping my full coverage insurance (just wasn't worth it). I live in Dallas, so car theft is an issue, but its not horrible. I need something thats secure and convenient and not chirping at me every time a bird ****s on my car. I think I also want a 2-way key fob thiny and remote start.

Are you going to install it yourself? 90% of an alarm's effectiveness is the installation, so you need to make sure that everything is installed correctly, hidden well, circuits are tapped into using SPDT relays, etc.
