![]() ![]() I was driving last night and all of a sudden, the car would make this clacking/knocking(?) noise as I let off the gas and the noise would slow down as speed/RPM dropped. Shifting into 2nd or 4th gear, I would get a slight vibration in the shifter as I ease it into gear. I pulled over at a friend's house and looked around the transmission area and notice that bolt's kinda sitting on it's ass next to an opening. I put the bolt back into said opening and the noise stop. Before I do anything stupid, is there any significance to said bolt? Is it the opening to the tranny fluid? -------------------- -Alex {](O_o)[}

I've had this before, you need to have your car lifted up on a hoist and get the engine mounts checked. On my old Celica the engine mount threw out a bolt.
