Aftermarket (Autozone, Pep Boys, etc) hoses are twice cheaper than OEM (Toyota dealer) . Are they so much worse?
I am not talking about obvious worse fit, but mostly about quality (longevity) of the rubber. Anyone with significant use of aftermarket hoses (both mileage wise and time wise) can please express their opinion? Thanks! |

I think OEM are the best in most situations. i mean look at your stock hoses.. they've lasted... 14 years? mine are still the stock hoses and look perfect to me. I have a 94 so almost 15 years old. thats a lot for rubber in these extremes. I'd stick w/ OEM parts no matter what. Its always worth the price to replace once and not have to worry about it again.

You wouldn't advise to get an OEM radiator, would you? |
