invest in one of these before you go any further with taking the intake manifold off:
http://www.siliconeintakes.com/product_inf...659d31bef05d68e (they come in different sizes and colors, I was just using that as an example.) just take the coupler off your turbo, hook this up to the IC piping, and using a bicycle pump, or air compressor if you have one, pump in and listen for leaks. if it's a slow leak, spray soapy water around the connections. Also don't just check the ones easy to look at, check ALL of them. leaving your PCV hooked up will blow gaskets and seals around the crankcase, such as oil pan, cam and crank seals, valve cover gasket, etc... Not the intake manifold or throttle body gaskets... Edit: you can also build one of those testers if you're cheap. Get some PVC pipe at home depot or whatever that has a capped end, drill a hole (figure out what the right size should be...) then go to a tire shop and ask for a single rubber valve stem. if they're cool they'll give it to you for free, they might charge like a dollar. then ask if they could pull it through the hole for you. it'll be a pain to get it through without a special valve puller that they will have. voila! for like $5-6 you got the same thing.
