I've decided that I need an alarm on my car since I'm dropping my full coverage insurance (just wasn't worth it). I live in Dallas, so car theft is an issue, but its not horrible. I need something thats secure and convenient and not chirping at me every time a bird ****s on my car. I think I also want a 2-way key fob thiny and remote start.

The Compustar is sounding even better than the clifford now. I like the fact that they use spread spectrum for all their radio transmissions as well as rolling codes. It doesn't get much more secure than that as far as radio transmissions go.
