It doesnt line up with the existing holes. The car is being converted from an auto to manual. Any reason why the holes are not lining up or why the 7th gen shifter is not working...from what i read, the 7th gen trd shifter should work for our cars correct?

what you can do is, try to get the big plastic peice of a 6th gen and swap the shaft from the 7th gen TRD, that will give you a TRD short shifter and it'll line up with the holes.
the only reason why it doesn't fit is because of the interior design of both cars is completely different so the plastic has to accomodate to different sourrounding. -------------------- ![]() |
