This may be a dumb question but here goes..I got this "new" car, New to me anyways and I'll drive it for a bit and
i checked the coolant after a 25-30 min drive and the top rad hose will be collapsed.Like someone put a vacuum inside the rad hose and its sucked inwards.I take the rad cap off and air goes in to the radiator and the hose comes back to life. What goin on here...? fyi:This motor is known to have weak water pumps. Might have something to do with it ?? -------------------- ![]() |

On my friends car, this happened, but after we replaced the hoses, it was fine.
What kind of car is it? |
