my capasitor and my stereo were uninstalled by the body shop and when i got my car back i couldn't get the system to sound as good. i have checked the cd player settings the amp setting the connections i can't make it better. my question is do you have to recharge a capasitor.

The capacitor should automatically start charging while ur car is on and running, its basically a battery. Maybe just to make sure, for a day or so drive around with out the amp disconnected to the power cap and see if it helps in recharging it.
