Hello, everyone. One of my stock rods broke and now I have to pull apart the engine and swap rods and pistons. I don't want to replace them with stock. I need stronger rods & pistons for my 3SGTE motor. Any recommendations as to which ones I should get and from where at a reasonable price?

And is 8.5 - 9.0 compression ration good? I'm just above 400WHP...

Thanks much...

Hey pittfirefighter....Thanks for the info. My mechanics gave me the same recommendation and the prices as follow:

Eagle Rods: $300
J&E Pistons: $540 8.5:1 compression

Can I get them any cheaper or is that the best possible price.

I am already using ARP bolts.

Thanks...
