 JDM Power Folding Mirrors, A little confused |

So I didn't know if this would be exterior styling or interior wiring, so i put it here.
I don't quite understand the relay part of the whole set up. From what i understand after reading the 12 page how to you can wire them with out the relay. If you can wire them without the relay why is there such a big fuss over getting the relays? And why do i need one if i can wire it without it? I just got my set of power folding mirrors with the switches and plugs and will probablyy start working on getting them set up this weekend hopefully just looking for a bit more understanding. Ya i am not sure if i want to wire it to my alarm, or my igntion...
Anyone know if using my USDM housings will get the mirrors to fold flatter to the car? or will the JDM ones fold flatter? -------------------- 1 JL 1,000/1v2
