so i went to a couple of my sponsors today on my day off. first i went to buddy club to check on a couple things to get an idea of what all i can get from them in the future for the build of the celica that will eventually be running in stage rally.

today i only got a new oil cap, radiator cap, and a muffler. since i am staying in the street stock class in rallyx, i am really limited in what i can do to the car. i am allowed a drop in air filter and a cat back exhaust, but thats it. i'll be putting the muffler on some time in the next month or so. i also checked on seats from buddy club, in which i should be picking up at least one in the next month or two.

next stop was at sparco. this is where i spent the big money today. i only spent $120 at buddy club, but the offer at sparco was too glad to pass up. i have been waiting to get a racing suit for future driving, but more for co driving this year. i was looking at getting the sprint suit, which is their entry level 2 layer suit. my contact there at sparco also checked some other suits and found me a suit that was replaced with a new suit this year, but is still good for regulation and is by far a nicer suit. its the x light suit and retailed for $1300, in which i was extremely hooked up and only had to pay $580 which included the tax. it was a no brainer to spend a little more for a far superior suit.

all i can say is that i feel very fortunate that i have such great companies helping me out on my journey to take my dream as far as i can.

there were a bunch of them in the scrap metal pile up at the body shop at my work, so i asked the body shop foreman if it was ok to use one of the fubared hoods. he told me go for it, so it only cost me the price of the bolts to attach it under the car.

thanks, i feel like this car will do pretty well and my teammate loved it when he took 3rd place in it and it was his very first time even sitting in the car. so far its been good luck, its brought me 3rd and 2nd place finishes in the last two rallyx's, so we'll see how i do this weekend.
