Hello,
I just put a new timing belt on because my last one ( a few months old) shredded. It now looks like my new one is doing the same. It looks like it is rubbing against the block and badly against pump. I made sure to try and center it on the pully's when I installed both of them. Any ideas why this is happening? Thanks -------------------- 1st car- 1994 Celica GT 2.2L 5s-fe SOLD

yeah it bolts to the block but if your not careful it can sit a bit crooked.
if the belt is moving then something is make it move obviously. Check the idler too. -------------------- ST205 Group A Rallye GT-Four, #61 of 77............600hp GT3582r
