Hey guys!
My current 7A has been knocking for awhile, and being that a plow hit the rear quarter, I was thinking of just getting rid of her. I've come to the decision that I dont want to! lol So my question would be, does anyone have any ideas on how much (approx.) it would be to put a new/salvaged 7A into the car? Do I just go to a mechanic and tell them what has to be done and they handle it or do I buy a salvaged engine and then go to a mechanic? Thanks a lot everyone! =) |

Well im just guessing but a 7A from a Junk yard would cost around 300 maybe less, thats around the average price I see them going for, you might be lucky and find a Cheaper one though. You could always get a 5S-FE for around the same price the the extra work putting it in and wiring it up will cost a little more. Especially the Motor mount portions. but if you find a 7A then it'll just be a case of dropping in and hooking up, depends on who does it, how much they'll charge you
