No "clicking" for me, more of a "crunchy thud", but there is definitely an audible sound when shifting and its not smooth at all - it takes some effort to pop into every gear but ever gear works just fine and I can still shift quickly its just not smooth. Sometimes I can get it to shift smoothly into every gear if I take juuuust the right path with the shifter... I assumed the car was just like that... I'd LOVE to get this thing shifting smoothly!!! Test drove an older volvo 850 for a friend... and that shifter was perfectly buttery ![]() Are there any other possible causes that would be worth examining? It's like that for me too, it shifts perfectly you just don't get that buttery feeling of some other cars, I assumed its cause I'm using a cheap gearbox oil. |
