Hello!

I am so tired of my 7A-FE engine. Its kinda good for a young 18 year boy like me, but I have always drooled on a engine with turbo on. And, a sportscar like Celica looks soo fast, but is slow as hell? I must change that!

So, I have got a guy to get a front cut with 3S-GTE to me, but do you guys have some tips to me which I should be aware of?

Updates in this thread will come.. smile.gif

nope you are right, they use the same splines.... having swaped a 3s into st my self i could tell you its significantly more work. to make it as easy as possible, get a 3s, use a GT transmission+axles+mounts, and send your wiring to DR. Tweak here on the forums. those will be the major elements of the swap.

then you have to worry about all the small tedious things like power steering hoses, exhaust piping, intake and your front mount if ure gonna run one.

Research everything u can and make sure u are comfortable with the work. otherwise it will be a huge headache.
