just wondering if anyones heard of this?

Once upon a time there was a red '95 3s-fe powered SS-I which hit 170kph @ 6000 RPM in 4th gear and still had more to go in 5th. Not saying who's it was or what kind of tarmac it did it on
![]() Moral of the story? Don't count out the 5s. (I've never driven a 5s powered car ever, Just the 3s-fe, 3s-ge & 3s-gte but I'm pretty sure it's somewhere between the 3s-fe and 3s-ge) ST205 tall gears - Yes, the redline is 6800 as opposed to 7000 so the top speed of each gear is still the same as the 3s-ge with s54. -------------------- Mike W
