I have had ongoing overheating issues, & I finally rebuilt my engine. I want to ensure that it stays cool & clean like the factory intended. I am looking for the under engine plastic splash shield(s) for a 1997 manual transmission Celica GT. I found a place online that sells two different styles, but I don't know which one is the proper one for my car. Can any one show me which one is right, or are they both needed? I haven't found a Celica around anywhere to look at. Can someone please either post a picture of the underside of a Celica or at least tell me which one I need.

Thanks I found the information I needed just a few minutes ago. There was a picture in the repair manual that I had overlooked a dozen times. It shows two of those splash shields. So It looks like I need to order both of those shields.
I have the front one that goes under the radiator. That's were my tools get lost at when I'm working on my car. ![]() Does anyone know of anyplace to buy those at a reasonable price. They are looking to be about $50 each after shipping. Seams kind of expensive for two bit of plastic. |
