So my windshield wiper motor blew and since i had another one from a 94 gt i decided to change it.
Now here's the prob: you know the wiper control arm (or wtv you call it) needs to be all the was to driver side for the wipers to be at starting position (so they will go up and down). Now this thing on the left (i know its not from a celica) ![]() as to be mounted on the wiper motor but its too far from the little hole for me to reach it... and when the wiper motor is at starting position, the pin is facing the ground... not the driver side... http://img19.imageshack.us/my.php?image=45083534.jpg Wiper motor starting position... to fit with the wiper arm, the ''thing" should be in front of the black part... http://img19.imageshack.us/my.php?image=64757770.jpg I've been working on this for like an hour and still cant find the solution... anyway can help me asap? It's suppose to rain tomorow ![]() This post has been edited by reko: Apr 26, 2009 - 11:07 AM -------------------- |

Problem fixed; the metal piece that connects the motor to the wiper control arm wasnt at the right angle when at starting position... seems stupid but the bolt was so tight that i wasnt able to take it off since it was making the motor turn every time i tried with the ratchet... so i thought it was welded... so i ended up using a pipe wrench (which i didnt thought at first) and it worked on the first attempt
