Hi guys
My MOT runs out on fri ![]() Below are pictures of the inside of the old discs, as you can see they are a tad rusty where they shouldn't be , is this a sign of seized pistons?? the sliders were all free and the pistons did go back in all be it not so easy (only had a screw driver). drivers front ![]() passenger front ![]() all 4 ![]() this is how the new disks, as you can see the rears arent doing much and the 1 front discs is still score free near the hub ns rear ![]() os rear ![]() os front ![]() can i really have 4 seized callipers?? they worked fine before i changed the discs or could it be that i haven't pushed the pistons on the callipers back far enough, if so what size of g clamp do i need to buy?? the front pads all had 2 anti squeal pads each and the rear had 1 per pad, my last celica never had any and never squealed. im just a tad stumped as i did this with my last celica (a few times) without any trouble.. so HELP lol Kev -------------------- |

new pads and discs need some time to settle.. my discs had some sort of clear coating (almost unnoticeable) and upon initial use, the car felt a bit slippery and the brakes didn't function as well. but after a few days it got better and better. just give it some time.
