 Spoiler Drag for 1/4 ? |

hi guys, I'm putting my car up the 1/4 next weekend to see if I can improve in my 14.08 seconds.
I've sorted the boost and I've also took the spoiler off. Looks a bit different !   Does anyone know how much the spoiler off will help, time wise. -------------------- |

your car will not benefit from adding a spoiler in the 1/4. you are not getting near the trap speed to make it worth your money and the drag on the rear may either not do anything or actually make your times worse. use your money wiser and get something more useful like engine upgrades or drag radials/slicks.

Isn't he saying that he's taking off the spoiler, not adding one? i didn't notice the roof spoiler thingy until you said something. on first glance i didn't see anything on there and assumed he wanted to add one. my bad. since he already has it installed, i don't see even the slightest difference it would make with it on or off. i just hope he steers clear of any large wings or whale tails...that would be fail and a waste of money. |
