ok so i never opened the system, just took compressor off block and set it aside. well after getting everythign back in and running , the AC doesnt work. when i push the button, the compressor kicks on for 2 seconds. cold air blows, then it shuts off and the light starts flashing.

Usually the AC light flashing means the ECU isn't getting an RPM signal from the compressor.
Leaving the amplifier unplugged could definitely cause that. However, if the compressor is kicking on and you're getting cold air I would think the amplifier would be plugged in. If it is, take a look at the wiring for the RPM sensor on the compressor. If that looks good you probably have a bad sensor. It can be replaced separate from the compressor. -------------------- ![]() |
