ok so i never opened the system, just took compressor off block and set it aside. well after getting everythign back in and running , the AC doesnt work. when i push the button, the compressor kicks on for 2 seconds. cold air blows, then it shuts off and the light starts flashing.

Hell YEAH!!! that was it! thanks for the help, once a gain this site came through! i wondered what that plug was for. as soon as i looked under the glove box, i saw the hole where it plugs into
