Picked up a scanner the other day to start fixing the last big problem on the car.
I already took off and cleaned out my EGR valve as best I could, but on the scanner, I noticed it flashes EGR and CAT. avg speed it trips is 35-41mph and I have the other readouts if needed to help with the troubleshooting. anyone have any other ideas? O2 sensor? Intake manifold? |

P0401 and P0420?
Your EGR valve and cat are probably bad. Replace them. The codes are unrelated, unless a wiring harness is damaged somewhere. But that still wouldn't give you P0420. --------------------  |
