Hey guys !

I have a beat up 94 gt 120,000 with automatic ....

Thinking about buying 96 st 160,000 5 speed . This car had a little accident , still clear title . Looks like I will need to replace both airbags , windshield , will need all 4 lights and a front bumper ... maybe some more little parts , looks like body is straight . Asking price is $900 . Is it a good ,ok or bad deal ?

Now about st , gt thing .... As far as I know the engine is not as strong ...but with a 5 speed . Rear brakes are drums ...

What are other parts that are totally different from gt model ?

Why am I asking so many q ?

I was thinking of changing the engine to 2.2 and rear brakes , will this make it a real gt model ?

Thanks in advance !

ST's are lighter. GT rear brakes can be swapped. Whole heap of fun motor swaps (4AGE 16V, 20V, 4AGZE, 7AGE, 7AGTE, etc.)

It would be just as complicated to swap your 5SFE in as it would to do a 3SGTE. Ditch the 7AFE and drop in an AE101 4AGE 20V. Unlike the 5SFE it'll bolt in to your current mounts and to the ST transmission. The motors are cheap too.

I'm not really an asshole, but I play one on the internet.
