my crossover has 6 wires, 2 on one side and 4 on the other side, I know the 4 wires go to the sub and the tweeter.

I couldn't understand what you were saying with your broken sentences, but for the most part:

- A 2-way crossover has 6 posts.
- These posts come in pairs (+ and -), so there are 3 pairs.
- One pair are for the line IN from the cd player.
- One pair goes to the tweeter.
- One pair goes to the woofer.

These gray and striped wires you are talking about, are these the wires currently going to your stock speaker? If so, these are the wires that would go to the IN terminals of the crossover. Then you would run new wires to your tweeter and woofer. That's about it. Just make sure you put the tweeter and woofer on the right terminals or you will be sending bass to your tweeter which is bad, mkay.
