Hey everyone,
I have a 1996 GT-S Convertible. It is a 5-speed manual. So far, my gas mileage has been coming in at about 22-23 miles per gallon. I drive a fairly blended combination of open freeway and around town. Does this seem right? I expected I would doing better than this. Still love the car, but surprised... |

Make sure you have your tires at the right PSI and a clean air filter! That should help your MPG a bit. Have fun in Vegas! im going there for the first time Aug 23-25 for a bachelor party.
Here is a extra little tid bit about the MPG thing. If you drive a 5-speed, you should get a little better then an auto. That might add to why some of y'all are a little off from each other. Casey This post has been edited by caszboy: May 21, 2009 - 3:25 PM -------------------- |

Casey Yeah, that's why I figured his was too low. If you have a manual and someone with an auto and the same car is getting better mpg than you, either a) your car needs some work or b) you drive with a lead foot. -------------------- |
