Hey everyone,
I have a 1996 GT-S Convertible. It is a 5-speed manual. So far, my gas mileage has been coming in at about 22-23 miles per gallon. I drive a fairly blended combination of open freeway and around town. Does this seem right? I expected I would doing better than this. Still love the car, but surprised... |

I average combined about 27-35mpg, trying to go slow on highways (55-65mph), and try to have a feather light foot in city.
A bit of a waste for a SS-ii 3sGE beast. But feels good to boost now and again - Shell V-power is great but expensive 98 octane petrol. If in the UK - use this calculator - its brilliant http://www.grantgibson.co.uk/misc/fuel-economy-calculator/ This post has been edited by san0: May 22, 2009 - 4:13 PM -------------------- ![]() san0.:GT-SS2:. |
