I have my ct20 installed and I read on a install/removal prosess it says to keep the banjo bolt on the engine lose when installing the feed line an crank the car till oil comes out to build pressure in to the system for oiling the turbo the when you see oil tighten it up. They called it priming the oil feed line. I myself did not do this an I am not sur eif I am getting oil to my turbo. Is this the right to do it does it have to be primed?

Well I think I found metal flakes in my oil. Its clattering a little bit but smooths out a little. If you find this in your oil is your engine shot? Or can I drain the oil? It sounds like its coming from the top what would break in the top of the engine to put metal flakes or like metal looking sand in your oil ? And If I do need a rebuild if the top engine is broke can I just change the head? And for a total rebuild whats the least expensive kit to buy. Whats the price range for this. I am going to do it with a friend thats rebuilt his mr2 with 3sgte and he is very experienced so I just need a price for materials and cleaning/ boring the engine.
