I can't find the pinout diagrams anywhere for the OEM radio, particularly for the 12-pin connector going from the tape deck to the head unit.
To be specific the head unit is a Fujitsu 86120-08040 and the tape deck is Matsu****a 08690-00823 -------------------- 1999 Celica GT

yup, thats what i wanted to do, but then i bought an alpine... but its doable just leave a tape there and tap into the input lines. This is what I did for now, blank tape with input lines tapped. Sure beats the hell out of a broken CD player lol. Someday I'll get a Nav/DVD unit whenever I have money. -------------------- 1999 Celica GT
