i got a major over heating problem today, i had juss noticed it today when i was letting my car warm up and then i went back to turn off the car because i wasnt ready to leave yet, and seen that the temp had went to 3/4 of the stock temp gauge? i had poped my hood and checked for oil and radiator fluid. there was NO oil and yes there was radiator fluid. in the 2 and a half years ive never had oil that low because ive always check it. any ways i went to kragen to get some oil and it took 2.50 qts to fill it again. started to drive and when i got stuck at a red light, the temp started to raise again, but then i take off and it goes back down. i dont know what is wrong with my car, can someone tell me or tell me what to check.... thanx

Its close to the radiator drain plug. Its called the Engine temperature coolant switch. Just disconnect it and fans will run all the time.
