If i decided to turbo my 5sfe engine would my auto tranny remain unharmed or would I need to replace it? I don't want any people saying why auto, lol I got the car for 5,000$ and it was an extremely good deal. 1997 Celica GT convertible with 48k miles how could I. I would only want to push around 200hp with maybe 210ft lb torque.

alright well, I am interested in doing this, what should i do first so I can have a turbo setup in my car? swap the tranny for the s54 (6gen manual), or E153. if you really want an auto i would look into the 01-05 camry/corolla, not sure if they will bolt on tho 6gen auto is good for about 150hp haha |
