ok so one of two things.... a the shop are a bunch of jerks and go by the numbers... its going to fail immediately... any change to the intake is considered illegal if its not DOT approved... otherwise the shop is not going to do the sight inspection and just go by the computer run...
on an OBD2 car... as long as the car does not throw any codes for 500 miles prior to the inspection... it will pass emissions...
