I have some oil in the intercooler piping that causes me to smoke in higher gears (4th-5th) when i let off the gas after being in high boost. I have been told that i need an oil catch can. I just bought the car from a fellow 6gc member: "jcaron9gt4" and when he had it he took the OCC off the car. The motor is a 5sfte. How should i install it? It looks like he had it coming from right after the throttle body going to the catch can and from the catch can to the valve cover. Any help would be great!
Should the PCV be included in this process at all? I have researched for 2-3 days on how others are installing them but i've seen it done many different ways. |

How did you end up installing it? My 3S-GTE has an OEM catch tank installed the way pressure2 mentions it, On our ST202 3S-GE we have it installed the way you mention it in the PCV to intake manifold line.
