I've been reading about the braking stuff and many many swaps for the rear drums to discs, here I've found people who change the hole system and some others that found a way to do it without change a thing.
so my questions increase instead of be resolved, couple of days ago I take off the drums to a regular clean and start searching to see if its possible to just put some rear Rotor from a Celica that will fit right away in my hand brake system. some say about ST165 some others say ST185, and many others make a swap for a GT application. I know that if there a way to fit a rear rotor to the actual system I'll need to find a way to put the caliper brace and the caliper. so is there a way to do this, or if the GT rotor from 6th Gen will fit (i don't think so cuz it looks smaller). by the way my Celi is an AT200 Celica ST 1994 checking the web many people sell both front and rear rotors, can I use the front rotors from ST185 with my actual calipers ? No you have to change out the whole assembly, otherwise everyone would just stick rotors on
![]() IDK if 5th gen calipers fit, you'd have to research that. I really think you're better off just buying the entire rear brake setup off of one car rather than piecing it together though. You're apt to run into more problems if you piece it together like that. Here ya go, it's a winner! http://www.6gc.net/forums/index.php?showto...mp;#entry782419 This post has been edited by GriffGirl: Jul 1, 2009 - 5:57 PM -------------------- ![]() |
