Hi.

I've had my st205 for 2 years and i have just started to notice a stutter when acceleration.
I have got a Blitz sbc id boost controller set to 15psi.I can feel a stutter under hard acceleration and it's also evident but not as bad when accelerating slowly. What seems to happen is,as the boost rises at around 2500rpm the acceleration drops off for less than a second and then it comes back and it accelerates hard. Any idea's?

I'm not sure if the 2 problems are related but the other night when i was driving i opened the car up in 3rd, the car was around 5000 revs and the car completely dropped off.For a second i thought it was stuffed however it came straight back up again. It was like the fuel cut defender had cut in, however there was no error codes and the boost controller had not gone passed the previous peak of 15.2psi.

Depends how advanced your boost controller is... It may be able to make use of it, or simply make it redundant in which case it would be best to cap all ends.

If you trace back that second line, it should go to the vacuum solenoid valve and then back to the inlet manifold, So in essence a factory bleed valve.. The computer turns it on when there isnt enough load to wind up the turbo.

If you play around with it, you may find you can send it your own signals...
