Im thinking about upgrading my component speakers, since our factory ones leave a lot to be desired. I have a modest budget of about 50bucks that I would like to stay within for the front two speakers.
Im looking for something with good clarity and good bass response, to compliment the two 10in subs I have in the trunk. Any recommendations? -------------------- 15PSI - 30MPG - Megasquirt Tuned

our stock speakers are actually really really good... but age and wear tends to leave them sounding like garbage... they run about $200 a speaker... alpine makes some great aftermarket speakers... type s's are ok but for component step up to the type-r, just a few more bucks and well worth it... you can usually get last years model pretty cheap too I dont know, i find our factory speakers to be extremely lacking. The highs are nowhere to be found, there is no bottom end, everything in the middle lacks clarity. -------------------- 15PSI - 30MPG - Megasquirt Tuned
