. . . . . . . . . . . . . . No mouseover for you. I just ripped off and tore down all four calipers today and dropped them off for powdercoating. Just doing a red on the stock calipers. Surprisingly enough, for having 145K miles, only minimal parts need replacing. The front pin bushings need replacing, there was one torn boot on a rear pin bushing, and that's about it. All the shims and springs are good, the pistons and boots are fine, I was rather surprised. SHould have them back on Sunday or Monday and back on Monday for sure as I'm back to work on Tuesday. Pic to come obviously. -------------------- |

i have always bought different lug nuts than what came with the rims. The ones I have and LOVE are Gorilla's I think... I dont remember. I spent like $40 for them all and they are AWESOME I actually use Gorilla's on the Vette and Trans Am, but the Celi wheels require an absolute narrow body lug nut that AFAIK, Gorilla doesn't make. However, I found what I need. Katie checked at her Auto Zone for what I needed, and couldn't find anything. She picked me up from work and as I dropped her off I stopped in to double check. Found a set of "Metric Caliper Hex Sockets" with a 12, 14, and 16mm hex socket. The 12mm fit like a champ. Back in business. -------------------- |
