I saw this posting for a Celica, because I'm looking to do a GT-Four Swap, this isn't exactly what I wanted, but I figured someone else might want to check it out. Here is the link to the ad, and some information I got through e-mailing the guy.

'94 Celica ST. 5 spd. body in good shape but no engine. Started an engine swap and had no time to finish the project. Great car to finish the swap, use for parts, or put the correct motor back in. Also have some new parts willing to include with the sale such as axles still in the box. Also selling the 3sgte turbo celica motor that I bought to swap in for an additional price. MUST GO!!!! no time left to work on a project car, need to get it out of the driveway asap. Call anytime day or night if interested or want some more info on it. (860) 917-9588 or email me. the-house87@hotmail.com

The celica is an ST hatchback. I have the motor listed by itself for $1000 but am willing to go lower especially if the car goes with it. It is a 90-93 motor, I forget which gen that is. I was planning on keeping my celica FWD(I heard this was a much less expensive swap as well as faster), I purchased a GT FWD tranny which is already hooked up to the motor with performance clutch parts in it. I no longer have the AWD tranny that came with it. I have the GT motor mounts to swap in to allow the motor to fit, I have brand new GT front axles and radiator needed to do the swap. I have the ECU and wire harness for the motor, and two full wire harnesses to the ST model. I really wanted to finish the swap but the shop near me screwed me and went out of business, so I don't have anymore time or help to finish the swap. I will listen to all offers since I need to get this thing out of here and get a car to drive for now.
Thanks

PS: It's in Connecticut

Hi guys,
This is my car he posted for me, I didn't have a membership until today. Please feel free to contact me about any questions you have concerning my car and motor. The car is in pretty good shape about 170k on the body and of course there is no original motor left. The interior was always kept clean, there are a few stains now because of the shop that worked on it. The motor was purchased from a jdm import company with a 1 year warranty and guarantee of 50k or less miles on it. I have the ECU wire harness all that stuff, and new GT motor mounts and parts ( they just haven't gone in yet). I saw someone mention it sounded fishy because of craig's list but I assure you I am not a scammer lol. Long story short, I had my celica, wanted it to be faster, bought the 3s motor for it, emailed a swap specialist in Georgia dozens of times asking what I will need to do the swap, then bought a fwd gt tranny and hooked it up to the 3s motor, bought all the other parts and brought it to this new performance shop in my town. They had the car for so long, did no work on it, dropped it off for a "few days" while they were supposedly moving shop across town, went out of business and ran off with the $800 i gave them up front for partial payment on the swap. So now I am forced to sell it to get a beater car in the mean time and get back and forth. I listed the motor and car separately but since they sat the motor in the car half assed when they returned it and I don't have a hoist I would prefer to sell it as is, unless I can find someone to help me get the motor out. Again email me at the-house87@hotmail.com if you have any questions. I can try to get some pics of it too. I am located in Colchester, CT.
