No mouseover for you.

I just ripped off and tore down all four calipers today and dropped them off for powdercoating. Just doing a red on the stock calipers. Surprisingly enough, for having 145K miles, only minimal parts need replacing. The front pin bushings need replacing, there was one torn boot on a rear pin bushing, and that's about it. All the shims and springs are good, the pistons and boots are fine, I was rather surprised.

SHould have them back on Sunday or Monday and back on Monday for sure as I'm back to work on Tuesday. Pic to come obviously.

Just drove it in to work. Nice thing about going in at 0230 is that I could do several bed down 45-0 stops on the way. The new blank rotors and EBC Red Stuff Pads bite freaking HARD. Initial bite isn't overly impressive, but as soon as they start to get a bite it comes on hard and fast. I'm thinking about measuring out some 60-0 stopping distances becase frankly, I was impressed at how quickly this thing stops now.
