There is a cheap junk yard locally, and they just got a 5th gen celica. The celica has rear disc and i'd like to do that on my 6gc.. is that possible? Oh, and the 5th gen also has a front strut bar, will that fit my 6gc?

Thank you.

Alrighty, well, I read in a how to here that;

QUOTE
The parking brake on a 6th gen. GT with discs in back doesn't use the caliper to stop, it uses an internal drum brake. Fifth generation Celicas use a similar setup, but beware that they use a smaller center bore, so fifth gen. GT rotors cannot fit on a sixth gen. hub.

whats that supposed to mean?

Looks like it's talking about the hole in the center of the disc where the hub itself protrudes through. You could feasibly have that opened up at a machine shop though.
