Hi guys, when we put the key in the driverside door and turned the key to the right twice to simultaneously unlock both door right?

Somehow, I recently replaced my door and when I tried to do it, it doesnt work anymore.

Has anyone encountered this? Any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks

Sure you hooked up the electronics in the door -- and in the footwell -- correctly?

yes, everything correctly! all mirrors, locks, windows operate, just when i try to open the passenger door by unlocking driver door doesnt work.

interesting i didn't know you could unlock both doors with the key.

Yep, just twist the key twice instead of once. Works on both doors. Another feature I love, and surely you know about this one, is how the car won't let you lock your keys in the ignition. If your shut your car off and open the door but leave your keys in the ignition and try to lock the doors, they will keep automatically unlocking until you take the keys out.

I've got a similar problem with my car. Whoever owned it before me locked his keys in the car, and pried the passenger side door handle off somehow. Now the lock doesn't work at all. I might take it apart today, now that I'm feeling inspired. I'll let you know what I find, as far as electronics go. Before I do that, does anybody know if there's any difference between the driver and passenger side doors as far as electronics go? I never noticed any in my part-out, but I wasn't checking wire by wire either.

when u unlock the passenger door, it automatically unlocks the driver door too by 1 turn of the key. the driver door u need to turn it twice.

sometimes on rainy days when its not really that dark out i drive with my lights on. Then when im getting out of the car, i forget turn the lights off since its not dark outside. My car doesnt keep the headlights on when i take my keys out. Its saved me a few dead batteries and i think its a neat feature (if it is one)

yes same as mine, my lights are always on due to this feature. i nver have to worry about turning on and off my headlights

Haha I've forgotten, it's been so long since I had a working lock. My red Celi worked, I never put a battery in my parts Celi, and this one has been screwed up since I got it. I didn't get around to taking it apart today either.
