I am trying to remove my heat shield over the header but the bolts are completely rusted and now the bolts are stripped while I was trying to take them off with a 12mm socket. I also added WD40 to try to loosen them up. No luck. Any ideas? I'm trying to take the shield off cause I'm going to be putting on a new header very soon.
Thanks for any help. |

Vise grips are a long shot for something like that. Soak it real well and try an extractor:
