Sorry to jack your thread.

Just your comment about your K series engine swap made me laugh. Its just a lot of my friends run Hondas and they are fantastic cars and great engines. My brother has JDM EK9 and it is a flyer.

It's just i give them abuse about their K20's for ****s and giggles. Here in ireland K20's produce 197bhp in un modded form in civic type R's.

I find it funny asking them 'I wonder where honda got the idea of making a 2 liter red topped 197bhp engine from? didn't toyota make somthing like that waaaay back in 1998? BEAMS I think it was called'

thanks and i am pretty sure it was beams lol. its cool though. i put it in a 91 ef shell so it is pretty quick for what it is stock. i am just lacking the funds to do any upgrades (aftermarket anything lol) for as long as i can remember before i even thought about a swap(1992) i was powder coating all my valve covers red lol. but that was forever ago. hondas are fun little cars and you cant beat the gas mileage for the size of my ef. even when the celica ran great i wasnt getting thi good of mileage. the only thing i know of that gets better mileage than me right now is the prius and the insight.
