Looking to replace all speakers in my 96 gt and add some subs. any recommendations as far as brands? trying to keep it relatively cheap. thanks.

you can get some Alpin speakers on ebay for half the price --
I wouldn't go cheap on an amp - I prefer Alpine It cost me about $400 to replace my speakers and put an amp in myself, but I went with the better stuff.
